It is a good idea to have a place to ‘store’ future promotions. That way you do not have to work under time pressure. When it is time for the promotion to ‘go live’, you can just copy it from this page to the appropriate location.
We have included a couple of simple promotion formats for you to edit to your liking, or you can create your own.

It’s Coming: Spring Plant Sale Date
Sample Text, Save the Date! This mid-spring community tradition is the official kick-off to gardening season—shoppers will find a great variety of native plants, veggie and herb seedlings, and perennial plants and shrubs. Every year is a bit different, as most of the plants are grown and/or donated by Master Gardeners. There is also a ‘General Store’ of gently-used tools and garden-related items. Proceeds from the Plant Sale support the numerous Master Gardener community education services.

May 9: Save the Date for the Plant Sale
Jefferson County Master Gardeners are hard at work planning and planting in the greenhouse, dividing house and yard plants, and caring for perennials for the May 9 sale.
This year, we’re hosting the sale at a new location at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Horticultural Building.
Watch this space for more information! The event is co-sponsored by WSU Jefferson County Extension.

In this promotion block, to be placed on the Plant Sale page in the fall, you are emphasizing all the work that goes into “creating a pop-up nursery” for one weekend per year. Remember that the body of the page includes a description of a lot of that work, you just need to drive home the message that ‘we’re turning the crank to get things going for next year:
